Every trader on OnlyExperts applies and is approved by our team before they can quote. Here is exactly what we check – and what the badges mean.
1. Verified mobileEvery trader confirms their mobile number with a one-time SMS code.
2. Business detailsName, business type (sole trader or limited company), address and the services and areas they cover.
3. InsurancePublic liability insurance – and hire & reward insurance for removals, man and van and recovery – checked by a person, not a bot.
4. ApprovalOnly approved traders can see jobs and send quotes. We can remove traders at any time.
The Compliant badge
Traders who pass the document checks above get the green Compliant badge on their profile, cards and quotes. Traders still waiting for their documents to be checked show as Not compliant until they do.
Fair for everyone
- A maximum of 5 traders can quote on each job, so customers aren’t flooded and traders aren’t racing 30 others.
- Customers’ addresses and phone numbers are only shared with the trader they choose.
- Only customers who hired a trader through OnlyExperts can review them.
